Zoe and Brady’s engagement session at Belvidere Park District was such a fun evening to photograph. These two have been together since 2022, and their relationship has grown through so many meaningful moments — from their first kiss in January 2023 to Brady’s proposal at Millennium Park in Chicago in December 2025. Now they’re getting ready to celebrate their wedding at Kilbuck Creek in 2027, and I loved getting to capture this chapter of their story before the big day.

Belvidere Park District offers a beautiful, relaxed setting for engagement photos near Rockford, Illinois. With open green spaces, mature trees, walking paths, and plenty of natural scenery, it gives couples a variety of portrait locations while still keeping the session casual and comfortable. Evening light makes the park especially beautiful for romantic engagement portraits.
